    Designed for students needing a general, non-discipline specific introduction to library research, Module 3: General Research highlights how students can begin the research process using the Libraries' general databases: Academic Search Premier or LexisNexis. Methods for finding subject specific databases on the Libraries' web site are also covered.

  • Counseling

    Designed for students in distance education programs in the Human Services department of the College of Education and Human Services, Module 3: Counseling highlights PsycINFO and ERIC, two major Counseling research databases on the Libraries' web site. It also teaches Counseling students how to begin their research process using these and other relevant print or full-text online resources available through the University Libraries.

  • Education

    Designed for students in distance education programs in the College of Education and Human Services, Module 3: Education highlights ERIC and Education Abstracts, the two major educational research databases on the Libraries' web site. It also teaches Education students how begin their research process using these and other relevant print or full-text online resources available through the University Libraries.

  • Nursing

    Designed for students in the distance education Nursing program, Module 3: Nursing highlights CINAHL, the comprehensive nursing database on the Libraries' web site, and shows students how to begin their research process using this database. In addition, steps are outlined to help students find other online full-text nursing resources available through the University Libraries.
